Tessa (tms4341) | 25 comments 3/4/15- I'm being forced to skip around a little. I told myself at the beginning of the year I would read books that are either on my shelf of "to-read" or I would rent them from the library. I think I now have 5 books on hold at the library since they've been having some difficulties.
I read all of the Harry Potter series and loved them. I've reread them and still loved them. If I ever have children, I will read them to them. The Tales of Beedle the Bard is a very short set of short stories. It was supposed to be an easy read week that I could play catch up with. Hopefully another library book comes in soon as I don't think this will take me longer than a night to read.
3/5/15- The book is about 110 pages. It's super short and a quick read. Dumbledore's additions to the stories are funny. I think I liked the last, about the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak. Probably just b/c of the part it played in the HP books. Would recommend for any HP fan. :)

Brittany (booksandbottles) (gamerkiti) I didn't even realize this existed!! I feel like such a dork considering how much I LOVE HP. This is definitely being added to my "to-red" list as soon as I post this comment!

Ebba (ebbagh) | 25 comments I'll be reading this one for week 12 aswell :)

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments I'm seriously considering this one for my Short Stories book as it's next on my To Read shelf. I love how quick a read it is so it'll give me more time for a side read during this week.

Brittany (booksandbottles) (gamerkiti) So I fell in love with this book as soon as I downloaded it and started to read it. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and am happy that I finally sat down to read this book (once I realized that it actually existed lol). I think the one story that I found a bit odd was "The Warlock's Hairy Heart". It reminded me more of Edgar Allen Poe's work than anything but I still found it enjoyable. I also love how Dumbledore has written notes on each story, I have to say though that "The Tale of the Three Brothers" is probably my favorite story followed closely by Babbitty Rabbitty :)

Kayla | 14 comments just finished this one for short stories, since I am jumping around. my fave was definitely babbity rabbity...so clever!

message 9: by Grace Meredith (new)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I got this one a WHILE ago for a birthday present (back when I was really into Harry Potter), and read it through in one day. It was really clever! An excellent way to join with the Harry Potter series, but also be a different-styled companion. I remember that some of them were a little gross and gruesome, but that never deterred me!
