There are more places than ever to listen to audiobooks. Where is your favorite place to listen?

Audible was always my place of choice, but sometimes I don't want to necessarily own a book, so I have let that go. But I've been known to reactivate my subscription when they offer a discounted price.

My favorite place to listen is Brooklyn Public Library. I buy a subscription every year, because they have an amazing audio selection, and it's a great place to get new releases. Sometimes there's quite a wait, but there is always something available that I'm interested in.

If you are interested, too, it was $50.00 the last time I renewed. It's for U.S. residents only, and you can sign up on their website. No trip to Brooklyn needed. ;) But you will need to submit a picture of your ID.

I may actually be interested in that down the line. I recently signed up for my local library, so I'm going to check out their selection first. It's a smaller town, so my guess is it won't be super great.

Currently I do all my audio's through audible. I get credits faster than I can listen, haha.

I kind of love Brooklyn....so much so that if a book is set in Brooklyn I just buy it out of some strange (outsiders) loyalty to the place or perhaps because I really don't like the NY Yankees and Brooklyn is Mets territory. I don't support the Mets either but my enemy's enemy is my friend yada yada yada.

For me audiobooks are work and car. I drive for a living so there are a lot of hours between the two. I even bought a special earbud just for audiobooks....I wanted a single inside the ear wireless earbud. If you have stereo earbuds they get really clunky when you just use one on its own and when I'm at work I want to be able to hear what's going on around me while listening.

FocusPower .... best earbud on the market for that particular application IMO.
