Somewhere in Time by Richard Matheson. The film can also be highly recommended. I was totally absorbed and from there I began to like time travel romance.Somewhere In Time

The First 15 Lives of Harry August is one of my favorites as well .
Just saw this so I'll chime in: My current favorite TT book is Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel and my favorite TT movie to date is "Yesterday" (2019), directed by Danny Boyle.
Sea of Tranquility is TT? I'll have to prioritize or nominate it....
