Jules Wesson, the FBI agent in charge of the Holy Oaks setup, comes across as arrogant and callous after learning of Tiffany Tyler’s crime scene. He purportedly is good at what he does. Your thoughts about him initially?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments He came across as an arrogant jerk and a know-it-all. He wanted to solve the crime and get all of the accolades. He was willing to shut out the other agents to do that.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Agree with Robin. He was a nasty piece of work and would have been #1 on my suspect list, but I knew he wasn't the killer. He has no place being a leader since he shut out the very people with the most information.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with you all. Jules was a jerk and needs to be demoted until he learns how to lead a team. He put too many people in harms way trying to get glory for himself.

Jules must be a favorite FBI character name. Every time I read Jules, I wanted the other Jules from Troubleshooters.

Jessica | 156 comments The author did bring Jules back so he could help save the day at the end of the last action scene. Is it possible she has plans to redeem him in future books?

I agree, I also loved Jules from Troubleshooters.

Good point, Jessica. Maybe he'll show up in future books.

~Melissa~ | 429 comments Jules was an arrogant asshole. Only interested in getting the collar himself and show how smart he is. Not a team player.

I knew from this scene alone that he was going to be a problem. Who does this? Especially a team leader. I wanted to know who he knew to get this far ahead with an obvious lack of skill to lead anything.

Agreed. Jules had no business being a "leader"...he didn't know what the term means.
