do you annotate your books?

rae (jurdan's version) I annotated one book lol (The first inheritance book) it was pretty fun tbh

gurnaaz i personally love annotations and annotating books. my first book i annotated was song of achilles (first read) and i mostly just highlighted quotes but then i read the seven husbands of evelyn hugo and did colour coded annotations and stuff and it was honestly so fun and makes the reading experience more personal (and the copy) i even write down song lyrics or names sometimes. i also plan to re-read and annotate six of crows bc i read that before my copies came in

yes i do! i personally love annotating its a super fun way to remember quotes and be artsy! i have 4 annotated books ( they both die at the end, perks of being wallflower, last night at the telegraph club and she gets the girl!) and i love them all and my style changes each time too!

a_win_in_clear_rain | 2 comments I just started annotating (sort of), I've just been using color-coded tabs since I tend to lend out books a lot after I've read them and don't want everyone else to have to deal with all my notes, but I really enjoy it and I've found it helps me remember details I usually wouldn't!

hodiyathegreat | 39 comments i love the idea of annotating books in a chaotic way but my mom would kill me if i wrote in my books😭 so i just like to put little sticky tabs. i find it helps me enjoy the book more.

Ava (Nightwing's version) Yesss I’m annotating The Raven Boys right now and it’s such a great book to annotate

Lia! | 10 comments I annotate to the gods because it makes me feel liked I loved through my books

molly | 34 comments I don’t but I think it would be cool to start! However in the inheritance games I have done some simple doodles on the pages (hearts, blood, etc)

aurora (taylor's version) (aurorajo) | 38 comments I love the idea of annotating, and I have done it for a few books, but I can only mentally do it if I have 2 copies of a book bc my mind tells me I shouldn't "ruin" it (even though it's not really ruining it

Books & Reviews with Eszter | 11 comments I do annotate my books, but I only tab them. I’ve recently started it last year November, and it’s really fun and helpful to help me recall what I read. I personally don’t like writing in my books because I don’t like destroying my books, but it’s just my opinion. I highly recommend annotating your books, even if it’s just tabbing, since it not only helps you remember, but it’s also fun when your rereading it to know what you thought of it at the time.

okay so if you ever wanted to but didn't wanna write in the books and/or highlight i would recommend clear sticky notes! you can write on the with pen perfectly normal and it wouldn't be on the actually books :)
