For publishing on Amazon KDP, I would recommend Ian Andrew's Self Publishing For Independent Authors 2018 2nd Edition. Tells you all about formatting etc to create an ebook and a paperback. I recommend you get the paperback not the ebook. With the paperback you can mark pages etc. Quite expensive, but as it's a few years old now, you might be able to get a used paperback cheaper but make sure it's the second edition. It's helped me tremendously.
As to marketing, the book does touch on this, but there's so much out there that you have to research this for yourself. Brian Cohen (Google him) does free Amazon ad campaign webinars from time to time. They're pretty good, intensive over 5 days, but I've never been able to make Amazon ads work for me. If you've got a very specific genre it might work better. Hope this helps.Class of ’97: An absorbing, page-turning read for all lovers of suspense and mysteryGill Mather
