This book is about two Jewish boys who decide to flee an orphanage somewhere during the holocaust. One of the children was trying to find his parents, who he thought was looking for him, only to find them dead at their house. Just after, an old man takes them under shelter and protects them along with multiple other Jewish children in need. Eventually, they are captured by Nazis and packed onto a train ready to be slaughtered along with hundreds of other captured Jews. The boy finds a way to break open a panel on the side of a train, and they decide to jump out. I cannot remember the rest of the book. I read this book in 2020, as part of a school study in year six.

Khoi, I notice you added a link for Survivors: True Stories of Children in the Holocaust by Allan Zullo in the header. Is this your book?

No, sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant the genre of the book I was looking for was similar to Survivors: True Stories of Children in the Holocaust.

Glad you found your book, Khoi.

No worries about the "This topic is about" box which does cause confusion. In this group, we save the "found" book in this text field.

I'll remember that.
