Vinh apparently always had feelings for Hannah beyond friendship. Do you believe his feelings for her were stronger than those for Angelina?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Vinh was just as scared as Hannah. He valued her friendship and wasn't about to take a chance on losing that if his deeper feelings weren't reciprocated.

Angelina was a force of nature. She swept Vinh off his feet and he had no idea what hit him. I believe he loved her deeply, but I don't think it would have lasted forever. Her true character would eventually show through.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Yes, Vinh's feelings for Hannah were stronger and deeper. He would never have married Angelina if she hadn't come on so strong or manipulated him.

I agree that if Angelina hadn't been killed, Vinh would have eventually come to realize that his love for her was based on a lie and they would have gotten divorced.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with everyone. Vinh and Angelina wouldn't have lasted if she had lived.

Same here. She was a force of nature but Hannah was the love of his heart and mind. Angelina probably would have moved on at some point, especially after Vinh discovered her true nature.
