Circe
question
Should I read The Song of Achilles first?
I read Circe years ago, and then I put off reading Song of Achilles because Circe was so incredibly good, and I didn't want a let-down follow-up read.
I just finished Song of Achilles and it's also very good, but not as good as Circe (in my opinion, but also many other peoples' opinions). You definitely don't need to read one to read the other.

I read Song of Achilles first and read Circe because I couldn’t get enough of TSOA. You don’t need one for the other but there are some things in Circe that I think make it a nice follow up to TSOA. So I’d recommend reading that first, then Circe, but you definitely don’t have to read one to be able to read the other.
Io ho letto solo Circe e non ho sentito il bisogno di aver letto prima La canzone di Achille. L'ho trovato anche molto bello e ben scritto.
this isn't a follow up to TSOA but TSOA stuff is briefly mentioned a handful of times. you could technically read circe without that but it would be nice if you read TSOA first.
I agree song of Achilles is not as good a circe but still worth reading they can be read in any order
I loved Circe, but could not get into Song of Achilles. It was still pretty, but I didn't feel the same depth of passion. Maybe that was just me. If I could go back, I'd probably read Achilles first, then, if I still couldn't get into it, read Circe instead.
