so far i haven't had a significantly great one but this year we have ari and dante and a black panther novel on the curriculum so i'm really excited for those.
the boy on the wooden box. its a pretty quick read and it makes you feel a lot more knowledgable about the world.
Hoot and out of my mind :) i think those are the only books ive liked that ive read for school (this is was like 5th grade)

Just finished reading a book called When I was Puerto Rican. It was really good! Some parts were definitely inappropriate and questionable, however overall it was very good!
We read the Outsiders last year with my class, and it was honestly heartbreaking but also amazing. The ending just makes you want to reread the book again.

Mine was probably The Odyssey or The Sign of Four, we didn't really read very fun books for school.

outsiders is still on top, but I just finished unwind for school and it was pretty entertaining. I don’t think I’ve ever cried more for a book than this one which is saying a lot.
I liked when I read The Joy Luck Club. I got pulled out of that class but I still bought myself a copy to read on my own. I also liked Of Mice and Men even though it’s pretty sad because it is a good story and my teacher was a good reader.

I know everyone reads “To Kill a Mockingbird” for school at some point in their lives, and that most people end up really disliking it, but… I FLIPPING LOVED IT. Scout, Dill, and Jem were adorable, Atticus was so kind hearted and wise, and the book was so witty and comforting.
probably animal farm, it was so good I actually recommend it to people when they ask for book recommendations.
