Cetus walked into his dorm. He sat down on his bed, which was in front of the TV and put Fern down next to him. “Are you ok?”, he put his hand on Fern’s forehead. “Why are you suddenly all red as if you got burned but you’re cold?” “Do you want a blanket or something?”

His face only heated up more as he blushed, this time it was painfully obvious, He flopped backwards and wrapped his ears around his eyes and cocooned himself with his wings. "Just- Give me a moment..!" ((He has fluffy wing ears, forgot to clarify))

Cetus tilted his head, *maybe it's a bird thingi?*, he thought cluelessly. "You ok?", he asked after a couple of seconds, "If not then maybe... I can help?", he asked and tried to open a bit between his wings to see Fern.

Fern lifted his ears away from his eyes, "I hate flying.. But I feel like I'm halfway to the moon..!" He rolls around, still in his winged cacoon.

"W-what?", Cetus laughed a bit and tried opening the wings more until he could see Fern. "What are you doing?", he couldn't stop laughing at what he was doing.

He stopped rolling and flapped his wings, "Stimming" He continued to flap his wings softly, He giggled and smiled as his blushing didn't feel as embarrassing anymore. He slowed down his flapping eventually, and hugged Cetus with his wings.

Cetus smiled when he hugged him. "Now, why are you all pink and red and stuff? Is that a normal thing for your species? I've never seen it before? What is it?", he kept on making questions about what was happening.

He sighs and pulls out his phone, "Hey siri, What is the definition of blushing?" He just sits his phone on Cetus, as seri explains how blushing works.

"Are you emberrased? Did I make you emberrased? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to embarrase you", he frowned.

He just giggles, "It's quite the opposite.." He just held his face with his wings, "I have the advantage here," He mischievously tickles his nose with his wings.

"I don't get it", he whines, "Why are you doing this blushing thing then?"

"Oh my stars, you have never had a crush like I have, possibly none at all!" He just flops back and laughs, "Was it not obvious?" He just giggles.

After what seemed like two minutes, Cetus' eyes widened, "you mean like in love? Wait you in love? With... me?", he sounded more and more suprised by every second. "How does that even work?"

"Uh, Yes, Ya cute little doofus, I love you." He nuzzles his head into the crook of Cetus' neck, "And It's called being extremely gay"

Cetus started blushing too when he said that. "I thought only Masculum and Feminae could be in love with each other and what do you mean by 'gay'? What is this 'Gay' you're talking about?", he was extreamly confused. Cetus never ecpirienced love before and never had the chance.

"Are you familiar with the term homosexual?" He smiles sweetly, "Homo means the same in science terms, so, 'homosexual' must mean I like the same gender, and the term gay.. Is short for Homosexual, So basically... I like you." His face lights up a bright red.

Cetus blushed more and smiled. "How come I never knew about this stuff?", he chuckeled and hugged Fern. "Here I thought you were just a friend", he giggled, "I was wrong", the last words came out as a whisper as he pulled Fern closer.

Fern just blushed and stayed in the hug, wrapping his wings around Cetus as he hummed and smiled, "I loveeee youuu"

"I-... I love you too", so this is the 'in love' feeling this fluffy human thing was talking about, Cetus thought. He let go of Fern, before putting a finger under the boys chin and moving closer so their lips were touching.

Fern melted into the kiss, Feeling a wave of euphoria coming along with it. He slowly slid himself onto Cetus' lap, He slowly pulled away from the kiss for breath, "I don't know where you want to take this, but, I'm gonna go wherever you take it", He just giggled and smiled.

"Look, you're really cute and nice but I don't know much about love so I don't think I would be a good partner", Cetus said with a small frown. He kissed Fern on the forehead, "I'm just not perfect, y'know?"

He smiled with a bittersweet chuckle, "I understand, You don't need to be perfect, nonetheless, I wouldn't want to be in a relationship unless you feel ready for one", He just hugged him, comforting him with his wings. (Yes- the wings are my fav thing to write-)

Catus smiled and hugged him back, before kissing him on the lips again and placing one hand on his cheek. "Thank you", he whispered and pulled back. "I'll think about it" (Lies, lies and more lies.) "When I'm ready I'll make sure to tell you, ok?" (AND MORE LIES!)

Fern nods, and puts his hand over the one Cetus had put on his cheek, "It's okay to want to think about things mi amor, take as much time as you need", He rubbed his nose against Cetus'

Cetus rubbed his nose too ((Y'know what I mean right?)). "Is mi amor from another language?", he asked with a soft tone in his voice and smiled. "Nunc paratus sum, amica mea", he said and pulled Fern closer once again.

Cetus kissed Fern once again and grabbed his waist. "So does this mean we're now dating?", he asked.
