I remember reading it in high school. I remember just adoring Gregory Peck in the film. I'm going to read it again for this week's challenge criteria because I don't remember it enough to really have too many thoughts on it. I remember not minding it as I did many of the other required reading in high school. Then again, after re-reading a few books I remember disliking in high school, I've come to think that maybe it was more about not wanting to be told what to read than a genuine distaste for the assigned reads. Or maybe I just lacked the maturity to fully appreciate them then. I'm interested to see what the adult me thinks of it.
So far, I'm liking it. I started reading it a few hours ago and I'm about a quarter of the way though. It isn't a difficult read which I'm very much appreciating right now since I'm trying to play catch up while still staying current so I can be present in discussions. I like Scout and her narration of the events is quite charming.
In searching for a book for this week's challenge I realized that, other than reading this in high school, I have not read a single Pulitzer Prize winning book. Hmm.

Got it! Hope it comes to you soon. :)

I haven't seen the movie, and I'm not sure I want to now. Maybe it'll ruin the book for me!

Can't wait to "finally" read it ^-^
