Fechin glanced back at Belle, a smile on his face, as they entered the library. His warm hands trailed the books near him, a sort of peace settling over his features. I love the library.

I'd rather be outside. It smells musty in here.
The only musty thing is you!

A playful incredulousness swelled from Belle and she swatted at him, eyes gleaming with happiness. Hey! Fechin ducked beneath her outstretched claw, moving himself to stand under the warm tent of her wing. Alright you chicken, let me find a book and return this one. Then we can go outside so you can have some fun. Sounds good?

Belle looked down at him, vibrant orange eyes on his. Sounds good! Fechin murmured a "good girl," and quietly walked over to his favourite shelf, sliding his current book into place and deftly grabbing another one. What do you think? Should I continue this series or pick a different one?

You know I can't read, silly, pick whatever one you want.
Fechin hummed thoughtfully, glancing over at the others inside the library. Come closer, would you? I don't want to socialize right now. He extended a probe of thought to feel the other's minds inside the library, curious as to who they are.

Astri watched as Fechin walked in and looked at her hand wondering

He could feel her eyes on him, and it made his skin crawl. He reached her mind with his own and did his best not to be noticed. Fechin gleaned some of her thoughts, gathering her intentions, before skipping over to the other person in the library. Small shadows coiled around his feet as he was ready to conceal himself. He just did not want to talk to anyone right now. His transfer was already stressful, and interaction wasn't what he needed.

Astri leaned against the bookshelf and thought more about her worried mother who wanted nothing but the best for her

Astri then remembered the faces of many guys her mother had dated and why they left

Fechin shut his mind away instantly. He hated having the worries of others in his head. You should say hi. Belle nudged his back as he pretended to look at more books. No! He felt her flinch, the force of his thoughts surprised her. No, I don't need to feel the emotions of people with problems, I'm hardly myself as it is. An ache formed in his chest. He missed his mom.

Let's just go. He turned to leave but Belle grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him back. You aren't going to lock yourself away for weeks. She said firmly, a growl escaping her. You need some friends. You've been here for years and your only companion has been me, go!

Fechin pushed at her jaws, a scowl on his face, his white hair draped over his eyes. "Let me go!" He growled, his tan arms tight as he struggled to pry her jaws off him. I don't want to make friends! I've been fine with just you!

Astri turned toward another bookshelf and huddled over herself to use her magic where no one could see

She sighed and smiled at her magic

Belle picked him up and he involuntarily shouted. Put me down dammit! He tried to twist from her grip, but she held fast. With sure-footed steps, the cockatrice brought Fechin over to Astri. His green eyes were wide and filled with frustration.

"Hey." He muttered, "I'm Fechin."

Astri turned quickly hiding her hand behind her back and gave an awkward smile,"Uh hi?" She tried her voice cracking slightly

Put me down, I won't run away. Belle dropped him, a mischievous glint in her eyes. His hands slipped onto his hips as he adopted a more confident stance. "What's your name?" His voice was rich and melodic, which hinted at his foreign species and his green eyes were predatory and wild.

she observed him,her mind clicking in different places,"Astri" She looked around her hands twitching

He opened his mind once again, feeling how she observed him. "That's a pretty name." He almost seemed to purr, flashing her a reassuring smile. "Are you alright? I saw you run behind here, I promise I won't bite."

Melinoe was reading a book, eating instant noodles and listening to music at the same time.
After a few minutes she got bored and decided to summon ghosts, with her powers of course!
She whirled her finger around for 5 seconds and then !BOOM! a small ghost cat came out of nowhere. She saw some kids and smashed the ghost quickly so nobody would know..hoping nobody saw..

Camelia was trying to focus on doing her homework, but some kids were running all over the library. Camelia put her headphones on and tried to focus again on her work.
She hated math, why did she even have to do it? She could burn down a village easily.
She looked around for a minute trying to get back to focus. There was just a girl sitting a few tables from here eating noodles and some kids running.
She decided she couldn't focus anymore and put her math book down.

[Was it good? This is my first time doing this]

"Im perfectly fine?" Astri said making it sound like a question

Camelia picked up her books and left to the door. She loved the library but needed a break and something to eat.

She looked at his hair trying to decide if it was natural

Unconsciously, Fechin ran his hand through his hair. "It is." He then winced and shut his mouth. Damn it. It usually makes people nervous when they know he can read minds. "Oh, alright, well, what were you doing?"

Camelia came back to the library whit a sandwich and a Pepsi max. She sat down and took them out so she could eat them. * sets down the bottle and a package* she opened the sandwich package and took one of them. *eating the sandwich* she almost immediately threw up. What is this shit she thought and put it down and threw into the trash.

Astri looked up at him and flashed her eyes left then looked back at him,"I was getting a book called Night Skies" She held out the book

Strange,he seems so normal but acts differently,She thought placing her hand on her hip.

Astri glanced at him awkwardly not letting anything get to her

"Hm" She looked at another book

Camelia's anger and hunger was getting a hold of her and she knew she couldn't yet control her powers. She breathed in and out trying to calm down.

Astri glanced back as a tiny purple being shot out of sight and she squealed.

"AHHH NO NO NO!" she chased after it at full speed

Astri chased it into her dorm room and locked the door

Fechin was in the middle of asking her if he could see the book when she sprinted away. "See?" He looked at Belle. "Bad idea." He let out a soft sigh and stepped closer to his familiar. She was chasing after something, don't worry. You'll see her later She winked at him and he growled. "I don't want things like that."

He turned promptly, book in hand and stalked out of the library. Fechin was hungry.

Astri stalked back into the library out of breath and fell onto the floor lazily,"Im so tireddd" she huffed

"CRAP LUNCH IS IN 20 SECONDS I GOTTA HURRY!" Astri rushed toward the door

Astri rushed in and hid under a secret bookshelf no one knew about beside her

She slowed her breathing

Astri fell asleep there and layed down peacefully

Fechin slowly walked into the library, Belle at his side, scanning the room with his mind and eyes. He sensed a few others in there with him, including Astri. He narrowed on her, intending to apologize. He reached her general area, but didn't see her. "Astri?" Fechin called softly, looking around. "Hey, I can't see you, but it's Fechin." There was still a primal force in his mind and his voice was lower and rougher than usual. "I wanted to say sorry for what happened in the cafeteria, I'm sorry if we scared you. I noticed you ran away."

"Nah im good im fine yeah" She snored lightly

"My magic can get just as scary" she turned in the secret space and groaned as she hit something,(Shes sleep talking XD)

He ducked down, peeking through where he thought the opening was. "Astri?"

(nvm im good now)

"yesss?" she snored again

"Are you asleep?" He felt her mind and confirmed she was. Strange.

"maybeee?" she sounded kind of drunk

"God why am i so uncomfyyy" she fussed

Melinoe..although seeming as if not paying attention, she was, and she was confused..then remembered the name on the door of her dorm and read Fetchin's I.D. and knew who he was..

*Mara and Ocar walk in and take a look at all the books. Mara smiles subtly and walks to a shadowy corner. He picks out a books a sits to read it and Ocar sits by him and curls himself around Mara’s knees. He pets him as he read his book to himself*

Camelia decided to take another break and go looking for some books. They always calmed her down.
