Abby (abbyrose06) for those who haven't read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, please do! It goes through an actress's life and all her scandals and biggest moments. It has LGBTQ rep and it is very well told. It's definitely one of my favorite books!

vivianireads | 3 comments You deserve each other by Sarah Hogle is a book that surprised me a lot this year. That one and Two wrongs make a right by Chloe Liese have been in my mind rent free the past 2 months.

mak ⊹₊⋆ (maklacedwithlove) The Goldfinch and The Secret History are my favorite books!

the goldfinch follows theo through is struggles in life after his mom violently died when he was young. (sm more than that but rlly hard to explain)

the secret history is about a man named richard who gets accepted to a college in vermont. he decides to take a greek class with a odd teacher who only allows 5 students in his class. the other students are odd, and slowly start to drag richard down with a dark secret.

Sarah | 1 comments Just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo today and 5/5 stars highly recommend!! Other favs so far this year that I rec: Where the Crawdads Sing, & Remarkably Bright Creatures (about the most endearing octopus named Marcellus)

Books & Reviews with Eszter | 7 comments I will always recommend All of Us Villains, which should be more popular. It's a dark fantasy centered around seven wealthy families who each pick an heir to compete in a tournament to the death that occurs every 20 years, and only one survives. Except this year is different. There's a book that's been published about the families and their secrets. And some contestants want to deviate from the tournament to break it while others want to stay in the tournament till the end. There's so much intrigue and suspense that will keep you hooked to the end, and I recommend it to everyone who enjoyed The Hunger Games, and just fantasy in general!

I absolutely LOVE the hunger games and I also really liked the ballad of songbirds and snakes (apparently it wasn't everyone's favorite) I will always recommend both the trilogy and the prequel
Also whoever is obsessed with studio ghibli, should read howl's moving castle!
Oh and Dune!!! Amazing book....not quite done with it yet tho
