I read Trust by Hernan Diaz. It isn't clear from the blurb that the book is set in the 1930s. (It refers back to the crash of 1929, but the events in the book take place in the 1930s.) The New York Public Library posted this blog, which includes the line: "Trust is a story about wealth, family, and power set in 1930s New York."

Should I post some (or all) of this in my submission?
One of the things I really enjoyed about the Winter challenge was all the books I read either from the 1920s or set during the 1920s. That got me thinking about books from and about the 1930s. Despite (or maybe because of) the Great Depression, it was an amazing decade for literature, and many of the works are still popular today. I also really enjoy Goodreads’ list feature because it gives me an opportunity to “browse” by different categories. So I’m combining these two things in this task.
Read two books from two different options.
REQUIRED: Specify in your post the options you used.
Option 1: Best Books of the 1930s - There are so many good books to choose from.
Read a book from the the list Best Books of the Decade: 1930s
Be careful. There are a number of children’s books here, so be sure the book meets other SRC requirements.
REQUIRED: State the page number of the list on which your book was found.
Option 2: It’s Almost Like Being There -
Read a book set more than 75% during the 1930s.
Here’s a list to help you with your search: Best 1930s Historical Fiction, but your book does not need to be from this list.
REQUIRED: It the 1930s setting is not evident on the book's main page, include a reference when you post.
Option 3. The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett (first published 1930) – The stuff that dreams are made of. This classic gave us the hard-boiled gumshoe Sam Space, quite different from detectives like Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot.
Read a book from the list: Best Hardboiled and Noir Fiction.
REQUIRED: State the page number of the list on which your book was found.
Option 4: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (first published 1932) - Modern library rated this book number 5 on its list of 100 Best English-Language Novels of the 20th Century. It has also been listed by the American Library Association as being among the 100 most challenged books for each decade from 1990 through 2020.
Read a book from the Best Banned Censored and Challenged Books list.
REQUIRED: State the page number of the list on which your book was found.
Option 5. Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston (first published 1937) – Of the three books listed here, this is my favorite, and it has one of my favorite opening lines: "Ships at a distance have every man's wish on board." Hurston was a key literary figure in the Harlem Renaissance.
Read a book from The Harlem Renaissance list.
REQUIRED: State the page number of the list on which your book was found.
