Mickslibrarian | 456 comments For number 3 of task 2.3, can the book be non-fiction, or does it have to be a fiction book that happens to have a real person as one of the characters?

I think you are talking about #3 in task 3.1
I was thinking of fictional works that use a real person as a character. I have edited my task to make it clearer.

*BONUS POINT: Picking two books from seven different options shouldn't be too difficult; however, if you want something more challenging, like leaning backwards over a sheer drop to kiss a piece of rock, then try this one on. Instead of picking ONE of the sub-options from TWO different options, pick TWO sub-options from ONE option (like I pick option f and read a romance book and a mythology book.) For your trouble, add on an extra point for this task! :)

Does the bonus apply ONLY if you have already completed the task using two different option? Or can these two books complete the task?

E.g.
For option f) I read a book with ROMANCE genre and a second book with MYTHOLOGY genre ... I have completed the task AND gotten the BONUS.

- OR -
I read option f) book with ROMANCE genre -and-
option b) a book with 220 pgs .... I have completed the task

Now for the BONUS, I have to read two more books both from one of the options ... such as:
a) A book set in NYC / another book by author John Irving

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 734 comments Question re
5.1 IRISH PUB
Read 5 Books
☘️ one book per word
Find the word in the text, give the sentence page or LOC#
☘️ use ALL-CAPPED words only

1. BEER/ALE
2. FISH/CHIPS ...

Do we need to find only ONE of the words on either side of the slash? i.e. Only "beer" or "ale"? Only "fish" or "chips" ?

(I ask because the bonus is for finding "fish and chips" in a single sentence.)

Yes it's beer or ale. Fish or chips but if you a book with fish and chips you get a bonus point

♞ Pat Gent | 342 comments Well, another month of didn't read as many books as I pulled down to read, but I got enough that I don't feel like a complete failure!

Horse show season is in full swing - rated show this weekend, and another two weeks after, so there won't be a lot of reading time for April either, but hopefully I'll stay healthy (unlike the two weeks that hit me unbelievably hard in March).

I have my April Sweet Shop task ready to go whenever you get the April thread up.

No, you don't have to read 4 books total - as long as the two books fulfilled two sub options from the same letter, you get a bonus - 3 points instead of two.
