Harley claimed he had changed, abandoning his nickname for his given one (Darren) but he never reached out to Bree or her siblings. Your thoughts about him?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think he wanted to stay clear of the whole situation. He knew what went down that night and never went to the cops. I think he is as guilty as the killer.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Yes, he wanted to put the past behind him and perhaps after Mary died, he didn't want any reminders of her, especially her children as he was in love with her.

@Robin - I agree. He is an accomplice before, during and after. I guess he will get a deal for testifying against Elias.

He and Jake were both criminals but something happened that changed Harley, sending him down a law abiding path. It was strange that he never reached out to Bree or her siblings, which tells me he’s feeling guilt or hiding something.

In retrospect, I’m glad he strayed away. They didn’t need him as a reminder of their awful childhood.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Darren is toxic, and a reminder of everything wrong in Bree and Adam's lives.

I question his love for Bree and her family. His chance to be a part of their family is gone. He should have stepped up when they were kids and tried to keep them together. I'm glad that Bree walked away from him.
