Raquel | 7 comments I just had surgery so it looks like I’ll have a lot of reading time. I’m tired of the hit and miss book roulette game. I’ll read an amazing book then I’m left longing for something that is the same standard. So let me have it…tell me your most favorite book.

Pelin Cobein (pelincobein) | 3 comments vampire academy for sure, it’s ya fantasy series including vampires(Moroi) and half vampires(dhampir) it does not have cringe moments imo unlike many of the genre, i am in love with the main male character for years and i admire the main female characters too, they have a really wholesome friendship. Writing, plot, character building and world building is great also, it is my comfort series since middle school and continues to be my favorite series of all time and i have read a lot since then❤️‍🔥 dont miss on it, it really is perfect ya fiction 😭 i find myself craving some time to time, i have reread it many times as well 🥰

KJ Warawa | 3 comments I'm partial to books about magic, so I loved T.M. Cromer's Thorne Witches and Kristin Proby's Bayou Magic Trilogy and Curse of the Blood Moon Trilogy, but I'm just about to start Donna Grant's Skye Druid's series... I'll keep you posted.

Shawn | 375 comments It is between 2 book series Outlander and Kushiel's Dart The Outlander Series has so many layers Fantasy, History, Love, Loss, Family, Friendship; the stories are beautifully woven. The Kushiel's Legacy series, also, has many layers. First I'd say don't get caught up in the erotic undertones .. the stories are really about Espionage, War, battles for the Throne, Love and Loyalty, Family betrayal and choosing who you want to call family again, the stories are beautifully woven and has you eager for the next book.

savoring_pages | 2 comments Hmmm, I’m quite partial to the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. It’s been ages since I read it but, from what I recall, I really enjoyed the writing, the chemistry between the MCs, the academic setting and general nerdiness of the characters, the independence of the FMC, the well-developed suspense across all 3 books, and the ‘chosen one’ trope.

Katie | 3 comments There are four series that I will always buy the new releases for: Mercy Thompson series and Alpha & Omega series by Patricia Briggs, the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton, and the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh. I like the writing, the strong FMC, a dash of mystery/crime fighting and all are slow-burns.

I loved the All Souls Trilogy! I picked up the first book at the airport in Dubai when I was heading back to Canada. It was a long book and I was about a hundred pages from the end when I realized it wasn't a stand alone - ugh! I had to wait 8 months for the second book and another 2 years for the third one. Every time another book came out, I reread the previous ones - haha! So worth the wait!

Avalon | 1 comments Hi, I hope your feeling better. When I'm in recovery mode from surgery or illness. These are my top paranormal go too book series. Both i feel are well written and take me away from whatever I must deal with IRL.

Morgan Elektra (goodreadscommorganelektra) | 2 comments My go-to reread is the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. It's a little more adult than Vampire Academy (which I also love) and I go through all the emotions when reading it. Highly recommend.

debbie (sqrlzrus) | 5 comments Authors Auburn Tempest and Michael Anderle. Urban Druid Series!
Love love love the entire series and off shoot series!
Why? The set, setting, characters, story arc and pace!
I have missed more sleep with this series due to the can’t put it Down syndrome! Kick butt heroine, magic, DRAGONs for crying out loud, and a huge tapestry of amazing tails!

Claudine Cox | 3 comments All the Harry Potters for sure.
Then Neil Gaiman or Name of the Wind maybe.
