We learned from the book description that Oscar was murdered. Would you have preferred to learn that in the book or was it okay as is? Did you even think him being killed could be a possibility?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I was very surprised when I read the backblurb. I thought he would be making trouble for Bree for a couple of books. I would have preferred that they not put the identity of the victim on the back of the book, at least in this case.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I guess I didn't read the book blurb, so I learned it in the story.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Putting his murder in the description didn't matter to me. If anything, it made me more interested in reading the book (although I would have read it any way).

As to the possibility of Oscar being murdered - I was a bit surprised at first, but after thinking it over, it makes sense considering his actions in previous books.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I didn't care that I knew he was murdered. It comes out early in the story anyway. He was a prime target since he was such a bad cop. I did expect Oscar to appear in another book or two, but I'm glad he's gone.
