jazzbarker | 2 comments i read this book in primary school when i was about ten so it must have been published somewhere between 2010-2015 as i think it was still relatively new
two siblings, one boy and one girl (potentially twins) get lost in the jungle (amazon) after their uncle is kidnapped
set in south america
i'm sure it was part of a series and that this book's cover was green
either the title or a key part of the book was linked ot jaguars/crocodiles
the start of the book was not set in a jungle i think it was in a city

this is incredibly specific but this book was where i learned the word monotonous
i read it in year 5/6 in England

Google Books preview of We Are Not Eaten by Yaks by C. Alexander London (book 1) - Rainbowheart's suggestion:

https://books.google.com/books?id=a0a... There are different cover images.
