Reading Under the Lilacs discussion

A classic sort of love story... except somebody might wind up dead.

Nobody knows Delilah like Logan does. Nobody. He makes sure of it by learning everything he can through her social media and watching her through a hidden camera he has trained on her house. Some might call him a stalker. Logan prefers to be called “romantic.”

But after Logan sees Delilah killing her abusive stepfather, he realizes there’s still more about her to discover. His sweet, perfect Delilah isn’t so perfect after all.

Delilah knows she should feel guilty, but all she feels is free. She’s so over the men in her life controlling her. Except Logan saw what she did, and he won’t let her forget it.

Delilah is done being the victim. And she refuses to be a character in Logan’s twisted fantasy. If Logan won’t let her go… she’ll make him.

finish first three chapters. idk what Logan did to Sophie but he's a red flag. actually the mother's bf freaks me out more. I wish there were more original characters tho

Ok I just started! I'll tell you when I get to the third chapter :)

I finished one more chapter after my last message. so 4 chapters

I ended up falling asleep early so i only finished 2 chapters.
So far I think Logan is ok but it seems like he has done a few creepy things in the past to Sophie which is not ok.

What chapter are you currently on maybe we could make a plan to both read like five chapters a day since its only 2 of us. Does that sound ok?

I went ahead and started reading. I'm at chapter 18. Things are going very slow. There are so many chapters in which nothing that adds to the story happens.

yes I am very sorry I have not been very active the past few days I managed to get to chapter ten I will have the book finished in 2 days

yes actually I did finish it. there were some shocking moments but still foreseeable. the concept was very good but the ending could've had more going to it. I gave it three stars.

I finished it too. I gave it four stars. Do you think Delilah made the right choice at the end?

yes definitely. it seemed to easy tho how she killed him so easily. maybe there's a book two in which they find his body or a witness or something

Ok so i checked and it says there's a book called The New Girl which is a sequel to it and the people go to Draycott Academy but idk if it has the same people in it. Do you want to read it?

probably if i can find a copy of it. but i don't think i can start until the end of April cause I have way to many books I need to finish and the pile just keeps getting bigger so if you want to buddy read it I guess we can.

I also have a lot of bond I have to catch up on. I think I'll pass. I hope you enjoy it though
