How's it been going for you so far?

I just finished the first 4 chapters, and I'm convinced that the two letters we've seen so far are connected. I really like Darcy and Ainsley, and Brougham seems like he needs a monologue to explain why he is the way he is and then everything will click and he'll be likeable, if that makes any sense. He shut down immediately after either his dad or his mom's "friend" started talking, so maybe it's something to do with that? Idk

Yeah Ainsley and Darcy's dynamic is great. I'm sorry to hear that you're not really enjoying it so far though.

I'm not sure what I think of Darcy anymore. I mean, it was relatively obvious that she had messed up some relationship of Brooke's, but the cold-blooded spirit of it all just didn't sit right with me. I totally ship Brooke and Reina (or was it Rayna??? I can't remember) though, so I hope nothing happens to them.

Still not really enjoying the book? We don't have to keep this buddy read going if you don't want to.

I was just looking at your tbr list (since we read something from mine last time, I figured we should take something from yours), and I'm interested in potentially buddy reading Spells for Lost Things, The Sad Ghost Club, Two Can Keep a Secret, and You'll be the Death of Me.

Sounds good! It might take a bit for me to get the book as I need to wait for it to come in at the library, but I'll let you know when I'm ready to start reading.

Hey, I'm so sorry this took so long but I've finally gotten my hands on a copy of Two Can Keep A Secret. I'd like to finish the book I'm reading right now first (it's also a murder mystery, so trying to keep both straight might be difficult), but I'm happy to start once I'm done. How many chapters are you thinking of doing per day? And do you want to make a new thread or just keep using this one?
