When I read this I kept thinking that I would have just told him to end my life right then, but I'm too much of a fighter to just go for that. So I would have been terrified,, but I would have done exactly what Feyre did to live to fight another day. .

I definitely would not attempt to run away after running into theose creatures. If she hadn't had some assistance she would have been dead, and who knows what else she would have encountered on her own. At the time she wasn't exactly sure about Tamlin and Lucien either, but at least neither of them had actually tried to kill her. Better the enemies you know (at least a little)

I definitely thought she should have had strong doubts about things she had been told, not just by the Suriel, but also by Tamlin and Lucien. Later, after she saved the Suriel's life (even though it wouldn't have been trapped without her help), I would say she may have been able to put those doubts aside, but that first interaction should have been view as suspect.

I didn't understand what Tamlin having to have sex had to do with Spring, unless it was supposed to be something to do with planting seeds. I think it would have made more sense if the goal was to actually produce a child. My only real problem though was the the "hero" had sex with someone that wasn't the heroine. It always drives me crazy when that happens. Especially if there are feelings involved (acknowledged or not).

I agree with the other ladies. In the beginning Cinderella sprang to mind, then Beauty and the Beast due to her having to go stay with the fairies who she thought of as beastly in deed, not appearance. Where I am now in the I have a Alice in Wonderland vibe with her having to go through these trials to save Tamlin.

I think that once he developed actual feelings, whatever conscience he had got the better of him and he wanted to do what he thought was the right thing by Freye. Especially since everything that brought her there was based on a lie. Then again maybe he just wanted to see if she would fight to stay.

Rhysand has been portrayed as a bit of a villain up to this point, he seems to have it our for Tamlin, so my thoughts was that this was another way to somehow get back at his enemy. What better way to that than by taking away time with the woman he loves. If I was in Feyre's shoes I would have made the same bargain. You do what you need to do in situations of Life/Death to live to fight another day.

I definitely would have had a hard time with killing innocents, but I would have gone through with it. If Feyre hadn't, she wouldn't have had to kill herself. It would have been done for her. And the entire point of her going through the trials was to free Tamlin and the others. I hate to say this but it was a sacrifice the few to save the many type of situation.

The answer is yes. This was a reread for me, so that I can refresh my memory before finally reading the other books. There are so many things I'm curious about with the main things being how Feyre with cope with her new circumstances and what will take place when she has to go stay with Rhysand once a month.
