Correct. You will each need to read the 10 monsters, but not the same monster at the same time.

Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "When will tasks be listed?"
You will receive each monster's tasks when you and your partner decide to read for a monster.

Yes, a book can be applied to more than one challenge.

Thank you very much for answering :)

How do you know when we are ready for the tasks? Should we post in the Battle thread of is that only for after we read and are fighting Godzilla?

I thought about making a separate thread for that purpose, but that adds to the hassle for you guys and for me. I'll just keep a watch on the threads. If for some reason I miss your readiness, send me a message.

Thanks I can read a gay book and not have to go to Dickenswhich would be my next choice.

Sure, that'll work.

Yes. You do not have to read a physical copy of a book that was published before 1975.

Is this just 1 human ..with animals or not and does it have to be naked torso ?

Would you count Harry in ... the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2) as a young child? I think he was 12 in that story. I guess what are you considering a young child?
For this task: Read a book with just a human torso on the cover
I know others have already asked questions but I'm wondering if you're looking for JUST the torso showing or if at least the torso is showing. Such as the first book below - you can see his torso but can also see his head, leg, arms, not to mention parts of her. So would that count or are you looking for an image that only shows the torso of a person, like the second one (which doesn't actually work because of page count).

It seems to me that Harry Potter would be an older child. But having said that, I will let you decide.
As for the two book covers, I like the second one best, but the first will work.

For the task "read a book set on a small island": How small is "small"? Could you give an example of what you'd accept? :)

When I wrote that prompt, I envisioned a small tropical island that would be just large enough to have a few hundred people living on it.
How about "read a book set on a small island (your definition)"?

Hmmm. That's tricky. I'll let you decide."
They are on the book itself but, as you say, tricky on GR.

Up in Message 26, someone asked if I thought Harry potter in Book 2 would be considered a young child. I answered that he would probably be an older child.
And then I said, "I will let you decide." You can determine how old a young child would be.

I checked Becca's profile, and she rated a book just four days ago. I sent her a message. Hopefully Becca will check in soon.

At least three.

Would you accept rom-com, comedy, or humorous?

6 point task - Read a book with three mouths on the cover (can be a combination of human and animal mouths, but they must be easily visible)
