The Transhumanist Wager discussion

Is this the author's desire of how things should be? Or is it a cautionary tale of how things could be if we don't work together more with science? Or is this a glimpse of what is to come if we don't?

Whatever it was it was poorly conceived.

After reading the book I would say it's his desire on how things should be. A self-insert fantasy of sorts.

I greatly enjoyed the book personally.

Despite the book's flaws, you need to check out the author. He is a very interesting character in the real world!
