The antagonists are revealed early on in the story. How does knowing their identity play into the plot line? Did it affect your enjoyment of the story?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I really wondered what they had to do with the Renard family. These guys were white collar criminals from New Orleans. What could that possibly have to do with a family from the swamp? It had me guessing as to what was really going on.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments In this case, I liked knowing the identity of the bad guys and what they were planning. When all the money they banked ended up disappearing because of John's wife, the whole group had a melt down and had to figure out how to stop everyone finding out what they had done. I knew whatever had been messengered to Michelle was what they were looking for. I just wasn't sure what they were going to do to get it back.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I liked that we knew the bad guys from the start. It made me watch them closely to see how they were going to strike at Michelle and her family.
