message 3: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments For now, I will allow it. That might change in the future though. In case it does, I will let you know!

Melissa Watson | 312 comments How do we determine if a cover is 50% of a color? I'm really bad at determining colors. My son is still upset I painted his room green. It's really more blue than green, but i guess any green was a bad choice.

message 9: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments You can use this page
https://labs.tineye.com/color/4fc868e...

Just drag the cover into the drag & drop section and it will tell you the percentages :)
Make sure to toggle off this: "Exclude background color from extracted colors"
And there will usually be multiple shades of the same color, you can add the percentages!

message 12: by Melanie (new)

Melanie | 354 comments I read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice last month and am reading Pride & Prejudice by Stacy King Pride & Prejudice (manga format) now as I am comparing both copies for my book club.

Am I able to use the manga format for challenges if I have already used the full classic copy?

message 13: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments Yes that's fine!

message 14: by Melanie (new)

Melanie | 354 comments Thank you Fiona.

message 15: by Nicole B (new)

Nicole B | 6 comments If you are new to the group and join a challenge, are you allowed to backdate books read before joining the group but after the start of the challenge? i.e on the October quest, could I put the books I've already read this month before I joined in? (providing they fit the rules etc)

message 16: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments As a general rule, only books that were completed after joining the challenge count :)

message 19: by Richard (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 85 comments Is it absolutely necessary that I have a Points Thread?

message 20: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments If you don't request one, I'll create one for you anyway as soon as you earn your first points. If you request one yourself you'll get 3 points to start you off :) But if you say you absolutely don't want one, that's okay!

message 21: by Jasmine's (new)

Jasmine's (jasminesnook) | 611 comments page colour is there a percentage it needs to be?

message 22: by KayLynn (last edited Aug 21, 2025 12:56PM) (new)

KayLynn Zollinger (kaylynnskorner) | 20 comments Is there anything specific we need to do to sign up for the Mini Quests and Bitesize Challenges? Or do we just copy and paste the challenge tasks and get going?

Also just checking, it's still allowed to use the same book in multiple challenges?

message 23: by Fiona (new)

Fiona | 3807 comments For Mini Quests and Bitesize Challenges, just copy and paste :)

You can use the same book for multiple challenges!
