Were you surprised to learn the identity of the woman accomplice in the kidnapping of Carrie and the others? Jill had been presumed dead for years. What was her motivation and end goal in this kidnapping? Why would Monk, a trained assassin, risk everything for Jill? Were you surprised he allowed himself to be manipulated?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Not really. There was no other explanation for the woman wanting both Carrie and Avery dead. It had to be Jilly. Monk, the poor sap, fell in love. Jilly targeted him from the start, and he let her run the show - his fatal mistake. I was surprised she was able to manipulate him so easily, but even stone-cold killers need love and acceptance.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments No, I knew it had to be Jill. Monk was being manipulated by Jill who got him to do her bidding. I thought he would see right through her but he fell for everything she said.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I'm the outlier. I didn't suspect it was Jilly until she was revealed. Her ability to manipulate men is amazing. She knew how to get to Monk. She stroked his ego by praising his killing skills. What a pair they are.

Jessica | 156 comments I think i started to suspect Jilly when the store owners were talking to Avery about how much the woman looked like her.

As for Monk, yes I'm surprised he was manipulated. I'm not a psychologist but i didn't think psychopaths were capable of love. It probably was not love.
