Eventually, Carrie must come to terms with the fact that her husband Tony betrayed her with her own sister. Your thoughts when you learned he was involved in the kidnapping…and with Jill? What was his motive? Did you see this coming? What was Jill’s motive in seducing Tony?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I went ah-ha! Carrie knew there was another woman, but it being Jilly was devastating. Tony knew that his time was short with Carrie. She was going to kick his can to the curb anyway, so when Jilly appeared he went along with her. Jilly's motive was purely revenge for the way her life turned out. On Carrie for being successful. On Avery for being born.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Well, I was totally shocked that Tony was scheming against Carrie. I didn't see that coming at all.

I agree with Anita. I think Carrie was just going through the motions until she could divorce Tony. He knew his time was limited and he wanted their company.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I knew Tony was out for the company. They both had companies before they married, but Carrie was more successful. They mentioned a couple of times that his business was failing. He wanted her out, and then he planned ride her success to the bank. I figure he wanted all of her money too.

I knew he had another woman, but the fact that it was Jilly shocked me. I realized that it was him when Jilly had a fallback plan.

If the other woman wasn't Jilly, I believe Carrie would have come back even if she had to start from scratch. I also believe she had money he didn't know about.
