I read this because one of my friends ranted about how he would never read such a controversially violent book, and of course that made me want to read it.
It was incredible. Burgess created a language that made the story more vibrant and colorful. It is one of the few books you won't mind looking up what the words mean online.

Oh, nice choice for this category! I read that book in university and loved it; I find it is one of those that will sit with you for a lifetime.
