Love miss marple. Third time reading it, I remembered some of the answers but not all.

Finished it yesterday. I was listening on audio while I was doing my house work and some gardening. It's quite short and I couldn't stop listening. I loved it. A great mystery.

Finished it over the weekend.

Enjoyed it! Light and fluffy, but with enough going on to hold my attention. *Exactly* what I needed when I was reading. Kept me guessing - and as usual, my suspect was innocent. Good thing I’m not a detective irl. 🤣

I enjoyed N or M so much and finished The Body in the Library so fast that I decided to read more of Tommy and Tuppence. I see we're not reading them again for some time so a reread will be easy.

I've been waiting for Miss Marple to reappear! I liked her better in this book compared to the Murder in the Vicarage.

I started this one over the weekend, & now I'm at work listening while I do some mindless projects. Only on Chapter 4, but I am enjoying the return to St. Mary Mead!

Yes, I liked her much better in this than in Murder in the Vicarage too. I hope she’ll start making more frequent appearances in our reading list.

I like this one, but man, the misogyny directed at poor Ruby Keene is a lot.

Ruby Keene, so he admitted privately, might have asked for what was coming to her, but Pamela Reeves was quite another story. A nice kid, if he ever saw one. He'd not rest until he'd hunted down the man or woman who'd killed her.

Yikes. Being a vacuous gold-digger does not mean that a 19 year old young woman is "asking" to be murdered.

I really liked the interaction between Miss Marple and Dinah Lee, though. And Dolly Bantry is a fantastic character.

Yeah the misogyny and racism in these books is jarring. I can accept that this was typical of the period, but it’s still something that grates.

I think Dolly Bantry was my favorite character in this. I hope we see her again.

I like Miss Marple. I was stumped right up to the end.
