Happy April! We are reading Jesse Q. Sutanto's Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers. This comical murder mystery is about a 60-year-old widow who investigates the death of a man who ends up at her teashop.

Oh, yay! This is one of my anticipated books this year.

Edited to add thoughts now that I’ve finished it. Vera was A Lot at first and it took until she started interacting with her suspects to really grow on me. This was way more of a found family story than I expected and parts made me laugh out loud (like the page in her notebook after the cause of death was revealed).
