So far, I've not had a lot of time for reading this and I'm still in the morning senction, but I am enoying it. I do like the three siblings, but feel sorry for the two older ones. Delia is the more robust of the three, Roddie is obviously rather stuck in her situation, as so many unmarried daughters were, and Maurice seems to have married someone he is incompatible wirh. Evelyn seems like everything I would avoid, unsympathetic, materalistic and grasping. She is a bit of a two dimensional villian at the moment, but perhaps that is the point. I rather liked the point the author made that she was like her modern house in that she lacked character.
