Would you recommend this book? Even though I wasn't the target audience and I found it a little disjointed, I'd recommend it. I always try to read at least one title when the ALA releases the list and check it out from my library to help support keeping it in the collection. This is one has been on the most banned/challenged books list for the past few years, so I decided to make it my pick this year.

Title: The Complete Maus
Author: Art Spiegelman
Recommend: Absolutely- however it's horrificly heartbreaking.

Author: Nic Stone
Would you recommend this book? Yes! I'm late to the party but I loved it.
I've read The Complete Maus and have absolutely loved it. It tore my heart out, which is what it was supposed to do, and I recommend it to absolutely everyone.

Author: Dean Atta
Would you recommend? This was an easy five stars from me so yes I'd recommend it but it's poetry in verse so that may not be your thing.

I haven't heard of that one, Erica, I'll have to check it out (I love stories in verse!).

Art Spiegelman
Absolutely recommend! I think everyone should read it. I caught part of a news story yesterday that a college professor asked his class who had heard of Auschwitz and only a couple of students raised their hands. College kids?? Don't know what Auschwitz was?? WTF??

Quite thought-provoking on so many levels!
