ok lets talk about Gilbert, honestly which do you prefer, Gilbert from Anne with an e, or Gilbert from the books?? i know there's not much of a difference, but still

honestly they are the same thing but i like show gilbert more, he just has so much more going on

i have not read the books yet (i really want to!), but i love show gilbert sm

i actually love gilbert from the 1985 version, he was perfect 🫶🏻

I used to watch Anne of Greene gables with my mum when I was a child, so I prefer movie Gilbert! I like the new one, but nothing beats the OG!

I couldn’t get into the show for some reason, but I love the movies and I adore Gilbert in the movies

I’ve read the first book and there’s not much of him there. The classic academic rivals to lovers and Gilbert is THE BEST!! Everyone needs a Gilbert just fight with the wall if you need to 😘

I didn’t watch much of the show, but I love Gilbert’s determination to be friends with Anne. Well, “friends”

The books because I've only known the show since September and the books for 3 years next month. Despite how sweet and cute he is in the show, there's something about him in the books that just no show has achieved. (I don't think it would be humanly possible)

I used to love him but I don't anymore, I think him and Anne are a good couple. I love Anne so much btw she's such a good influence
