Right before I read your comment I'd heard Angel with a shot gun and got it stuck in my head. It does remind me a lot about Angelfall.

When I hear 'Pretender' by Foo Fighters it makes me think of the showdown between Raffe and the other angels. Then there's also Hozier's 'From Eden' that I feel like could fit this series.

I didn't knew that song, I watched the version with some video games as a video, that was really cool! Lovely lyrics.

Thank you for commenting, I do love Foo Fighters but felt more connection with Hozier's, by the way amazing music they have didn't know them before :)

all the songs are very angel falling lol they have a little of both books, definitely music and books are my motor! :)

Girls Do What They Want by The Maine reminds me of Penryn.

The Mighty Fall by Fall Out Boy is for how Raffe fell in love with Penryn.

I feel like this song kind of brings you into Penryn's frame of mind when thinking of Raffe, life she believes the angels to be the monsters and yet has to remind herself that Raffe is the enemy during the course of the first book. That she's 'dancing' around him as he draws her in emotionally.
Then line "Don't look into his eyes" makes me think that Penryn is avoiding from looking at them as in avoiding acknowledging their situation, that she's falling for him and that he can't be with a Daughter of Man.

I just love it.

This one fits so well! Love it!

There are a couple songs I listen to when re-reading Angelfall (I've lost count of how many times). One is Dream by Imagine Dragons, which I think goes along well with Penryn's feelings seeing her world fall apart and dreaming of a future with Raffe.

The other is Beneath the Brine by The Family Crest, which goes along perfectly with the end of Angelfall and Raffe's chaotic feelings at the Aerie amid all the fighting. And it has this epic sound to it.
