Let's discuss chapters 26 to the end!!!

This book wasn't awful but man I was glad it ended. I won't be reading the future books in this series. Everything was just sooooo predictable and I still found myself not caring at all about the characters.

I am so freaking happy Shade is alive! Is it sad that that may have been my favorite part of the book? And his ability is awesome might I add.

So in the end, I'm going to give this book 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the beginning, but then found myself losing interest. Towards the middle I was just kind of hoping it would end. I found that I wasn't invested in these characters which is HUGE for me.. I just wasn't connecting and I found myself thinking, who cares if she is with Cal, Maven, or whomever. I also kind of felt like the story was dragging, and I had almost expected the book to have ended after the ball and they left for the other palace. I don't think this was the best writing either.. I'm sorry.. As time went on, and I just made myself continue reading I found myself getting interested again. AND THEN THAT ENDING. She was warned over and over not to trust anyone....but wow. I was pretty blindsided. I'm so angry.. FINALLY I started feeling things for these characters. Now I really wish that I had the next book, but only to see you-know-who fall. (No not Voldemort haha)
