i've talked with my bf about them and he said it hurt him to see me like that so i stopped telling him these sort of things

gurl, I don’t think that’s what he meant by saying that. if you don’t feel like telling him, you can tell us, ofc only if you’re comfortable talking about it

@Moonkitty star is absolutely right, trust me everyone who commented here genuinely wants to help. If you need someone to talk to then please do, I know how you feel, I've been there. It does seem like it's better to not tell anyone anything and keep it to yourself so you don't bother other people but in the long term it's not health. So no pressure but if you do want to talk then we're all here <3

my lil rant abt my old toxic friend group… So basically everything was ok until three girls joined. One of them had already left bc everyone was mad at her for laughing at my friends Nan who died. My friend whose Nan died left bc she didn’t like some of the other girls and the one who was laughing rejoined idek why. She then proceeded to kick some other girls out of the fg which I didn’t like as it was unfair and really fake to just tell them to get lost after acting like their bffs. So I got my bsf and me to stop hanging out w them. Then they kicked me out but idc. However they kicked one of my other friends out after even tho she went along with the all the other stuff (even tho she priv told me she didn’t agree) for literally no reason. They told her this over text. Then we just stopped talking to the rest of the fg. Two of my best friends ever were still in that group and at that point I was shocked. Since like forever they had always been so kind and caring and literally the best people I could imagine and now we were ignoring each other?! they made it clear that they preferred to be with the girl who laughed as she was now the leader of the group. I think they were desperate to be popular. Anyway my friend who got kicked out replied to a TikTok where they were saying about how their fg kicked them out and all the old fg girls liked her comment and she’s really unhappy and miserable. Idk what to do?

may i add then they tried to get my bsf who they used to exclude back in their fg but she said no haha

Yeah I guess they enjoyed the popularity but I think there's also a certain safety of being part of a group and it can be really scary to not have that, you don't even realise it but having that safety makes the difference between how high you hold your head that day.

Not that I'm defending them, I'm just trying to think about why they were acting like that lol. But good on you for taking a stand and not hanging out with them, I know it's not easy but that was very brave of you <333
