Sarah | 160 comments Yes, I've read her Anna Pigeon series, each of which is set in a different National Park. I've only visited one of them (Yosemite), and the books have a lot of wildlife adventure, as well as whodunnit. A bit of romance, too, but not a lot of swearing.

Jan C (woeisme) | 1820 comments I liked them. Got bogged down in Flashback - I think it involved ghosts and was in the Dry Tortugas, where Dr. Mudd was sent for his part in the Lincoln assassination.

Deep South was the first one I read and it drove me to visit the Natchez Trace one year.

I think the character marries a minister. I wasn't crazy about him but after her sister stole her boyfriend, at least she found someone.
