Nope

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I read book 1 in the Captain Chase series by Patricia Cornwell. I know there is a book 2 at this time, but I do not know if there will be more.

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in 4 series:
Will Trent (#5) by Karin Slaughter
The Dark Tower (#3) by Stephen King
Outlander (#2) by Diana Gabaldon
Sisterhood (#7) by Fern Michaels

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
As per usual, The SIsterhood series wins this month.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I can't complain. Better than last month. I finished a total of 8 books. I started reading Dragonfly in Amber back in November of 2022, but didn't get very far into it then.

Yes. I did a re-read of Inn Boonsboro with the Nora Roberts groupies.

I’m up to date with Sebastian St. Cyr. I wish Harris released more than one book a year.

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?

Yes, two
Joe Gunther and Beyond the Page Bookstore series.

I will continue. Joe Gunther. I’m not sure about Beyond the Page. It was a decent Cozy, but I don’t read many cozy mysteries.

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?

I moved forward with a couple of our group reads, but not enough to brag about.

4. Have Any standout or 5-star books read? Why did you love it/them?

I had more than I expected with my very limited reading time last month.

Killers of a Certain Age. – A great premise. I love that these older women were so good at their job, even if it was killing.

Mercy and Killljoy by Julie Garwood. Both of these books kept me engaged and turning the pages, even when I wanted to sleep.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?

It took me until the middle of April, but I feel I’m back on my reading plan. I'm looking forward to May.
