Jan | 774 comments Hello everyone!

It's time again! So.... What are you eating, snacking, drinking, sipping while reading "Children of Time"? Anything inspired by the book maybe?

And because I don't want to hear any distressing coded messages from someone, I am not asking any AI for an appropriate drink suggestion this month, instead I have just chosen a cocktail that felt appropriate! So here we have the

Absinthe Spider Highball:
0.5 oz Absinthe
2 dashes Angostura bitters
4 oz Ginger Ale

Pour all ingredients into an ice-filed glass and garnish with a Lime Wedge!

And now it's your turn!

Well there is the Oz classic drink.

A Spider.

Add 1 scoop of ice cream to a tall glass
Add your favourite carbonated fruity beverage

To be truly an Aussie drink the fizzy cordial needs to be Lime or Creaming soda

John (Nevets) Nevets (nevets) | 1900 comments One of the Christmas cookies my family has are called "Spiders", I know they sometimes go buy other names.
12 OZ Chocolate Chips
12 OZ Butterscotch Chips
6 OZ Chow Main Noodles.
1/2 cup Cashews

Melt all chips, quickly stir in Noodles and Cashews. Use 2 dinner spoons to scoop on to wax paper to cool, once chilled they come right off the wax paper, and can be stored in a ziplock bag.

They are dry. I wouldn’t actually call chow main noodles; noodles, as much as the noodle version of an unsalted US cracker. If that makes sense.

Oaken | 421 comments I think they are deep-fried to puff them up and make them crunchy.

Yeah those are tasty, but my mom makes them with marshmallows instead of cashews.

I assume in the sense that they provide crunch like crackers or pretzel bites would in fudge or similar stuff.
