Three Point Task

3.1 (Pat's Task) NATIONAL BIKE MONTH

May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try.

Pick 3 of the options below and read a book for each.

(A.) Read a book that has some kind of bicycle transportation on the cover - unicycle, bicycle, tricycle - any of these counts!
The entire bike does not need to be visible, but the image must obviously be a bike. Motocycles and mopeds don't count.
Here are a couple/three lists that might be helpful:
Bikes on the cover
Bikes Travel
Women + Bicycles

(B.) Read a book that has all the letters of BIKE in the title.
The letters do not need to appear together or in order.

(C.) Read a book by an author whose first and last initials are in the word BICYCLE.
Letters may be used only as many times as they appear in the word.

(D.) National Ride a Bike day is May 7. Read a book that has a 7 anywhere in the publication date.
Month (July), Date (7, 17, 27), Year (...1977, 1987, 1997, 2007, 2017)
BONUS POINT if your book was published on May 7 of any year.

(E.) National Ride Your Bike to Work Week is May 15-21. Read a book that has any one of these numbers (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) appearing together in the page count.
Examples: 173, 185, 215, 320, 421 etc.

(F.) My bike is light blue, yellow, and white. Read a book that has one or all three of these colors appearing on at least 75% of the cover.

Pick 5 letters from the word Y A H T Z E E. Then read a book for each letter.

Linda C (libladynylindac) | 988 comments Diane, could you please adjust wording of the example I used in task 2.4 to read:
(try to stay true to the type celebrated, ie, Rescue Dogs are dogs adopted from shelters not K9 or Search & Rescue dogs)

Thanks to Mickslibrarian for catching my mistaken assumption
