► UNSOLVED: One specific book > Children's handbook on Monsters & Cryptids. Like a simple bestiary. Illustrations but not on every page. Just over 70? pages. Little yellow hardcover book. Read around 2003-2006.

Esha Nas | 5 comments Around 2003-2006 I had this little yellow hardcover book for kids about Monsters and Cryptids. Not much on Myths or investigation, more like a simple bestiary. It was barely over 70 pages, very thin, but even by 2006 it looked sort of old. It was in English, most likely made in America. It had illustrations on some pagers/their headers but text on others, and not like, illustrations every other page.

If anyone remembers this, please let me know, and thank you if you do!

Esha Nas | 5 comments I’ll check it out! I do love bestiaries by themselves so that’s a neat find, thank you

I checked out his 'Missing! : Stories of strange disappearances ' which looks very close to the monster book format and length, but none of the monster books seem to be it, I'll keep seeing his material, though!

Esha Nas | 5 comments I'll request this from the NYPL, but the book I had was pure yellow cover, hard cover, textured surface. Could be due to a lack of a jacket but yea...

Esha Nas | 5 comments @kris no, sadly this isn’t it, but it’s very close; almost like it’s an update. These illustrations are blue but otherwise the subject and content is almost perfect by itself, just like an updated bersion
