Evan almost gets captured again when he retrieves the drop Orphan A made at Doug Wetzel’s home, confirming the murder of the prosecutor. Is Naomi that good, Evan a little sloppy or just some weird coincidence?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments If I remember correctly, Evan didn't get a long time (days) to watch what was going on at Wetzel's home. He saw the drop and decided to take advantage of it. Naomi happened to be watching too and almost caught him. I love that he hid out in the International Spy Museum. I don't remember some of the places in the museum that he hid. I wonder if all of those places/things are really in that museum.

I felt the same way, Robin. He took advantage of a moment without first planning it out. Naomi’s that good, too. I don’t think he was sloppy, just stepped outside of his plan for the right reasons.

I left the Washington DC area over twenty years ago so that museum may just exist. Well, what do you know…I googled it:

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Yep, I've visited that museum. It's very interesting. You pick an identity when you go in and memorize the facts. At certain places throughout the museum, you answer questions on computers (like you're being interrogated). My memory is not good at all, but I got lucky and picked a name that I could remember since it happened to be a name of a co-worker. I thought it was a great museum, but others that I was with didn't like it.

I don't remember some of the places that he hid while he was in the museum. Maybe they've added those sections since I was there. It's been more than ten years since I visited.

Thanks for that, Robin!

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with you both. Evan acted too soon because he saw an opportunity.

I agree Naomi is that good.

We visited the Spy Museum a few years after it opened. It was very interesting. There is one exhibit that is similar to an escape room that are very popular right now. I don't remember an air duct to crawl through, which Evan used to escaped, but I wouldn't have gone through anyway. I was a little too heavy in 2008. In fact, I'm probably too heavy now if it exists.
