📚JUNE 2023 Dusty Bookshelf Challenge:💈

Please post your shelves. NO COMMENTS in this thread please. After I post the pair, it will add a link to the shelf, and then you can add discussion comments.

How It Will Work:
1) Please only post no more than 10 books that you would like to read this month.
*minimum 5 books.

2) CHOOSE TURTLE (one book) or HARE (two books) to indicate your reading speed so your picker will know whether to choose one book or two books.

3) An assigned person will pick ONE or TWO BOOKS (depending on the indicated reading speed) from your shelf.

4) Bonus Book: Pick a Genre and the assigned person will pick a book from the GOODREADS Choice Award book list for that specific genre.
CATEGORIES: Fiction; Mystery & Thriller, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, Humor, Memoir & Autobiography, History & Biography, Romance, Graphic Novels & Comics, Debut Novel, Poetry, Nonfiction, Young Adult Fiction, Young Adult Fantasy, Middle Grade & Children

5) You have one month: JUNE 2023 to try to read the chosen books. (*if you don't read your book this month, it's okay because this challenge is for YOUR ENJOYMENT)

5) Please try to select for your pair ASAP as we all get excited and waiting is torture to some.

***Cut off on MAY 28th @ 9am
MAY 28th-30th Pairs will be posted & then Selection of the books and posting it for the person you are choosing for
*Again, as I said earlier, please try to select for your pair ASAP.

ETA 06-11-23 Finished Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter, which was super fun. Had a few books that were on hold come up at the library so I'll be getting to my second book after those.

ETA 06-16-23: Finished Contagion. Definitely a YA book but very enjoyable and a bit of a different take on the infected/zombies theme.

Hayley -- first and foremost . A rare five-star read for me. I've put it in the hands of total strangers in bookstores. I read it on a plane and my then-boyfriend read enough of it over my shoulder to take it out of my hands as soon as I finished. My sister devoured it on a train from Rochester to NYC when she was supposed to be working on her thesis, and then put it in my niece's hands as soon as she got back from NYC. I suppose it could be just that we are weird about her books, but I don't think that's it -- Gulland is just good.

Second, and in keeping with our royal female theme, which I haven't read but do have on TBR.
