Time for a poetry challenge- we have to have at least 3 members for it to go into affect, but regardless, this is the challenge:

Make a poem about school, something that captures the essence.
BUT
It can only be up to 10 lines

But for when?

18 Years

It was safe, it was a danger zone.
It was predictable and erratic.
It was comfortable yet made me feel like crawling out of my skin.

It was never boring for me, but some would say it was.
It challenged me, it kept me sane, towards purpose, friendship, justice, love.

In all these contradictions, it was always there. “Now what?” I say, then answer, “The road below, the sky above.”

The draft was ten lines but then the format changed 🤦‍♀️

idk what this is im making it up on the spot:

a glass prison where everyone sees me fail
"try harder" they say,
"but dont be a try hard"
"work smarter" they say
"but dont try to cheat the cause"
reach for what i want
yet be content with what i have?
you want me to strive for perfect
but then be okay when it turns out bad?
i think its time for this prison to shatter.
