Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister

Late October. After midnight. You're waiting up for your eighteen-year-old son. He's past curfew. As you watch from the window, he emerges, and you realize he isn't alone: he's walking toward a man, and he's armed.

You can't believe it when you see him do it: your funny, happy teenage son, he kills a stranger, right there on the street outside your house. You don't know who. You don't know why. You only know your son is now in custody, his future shattered.

That night you fall asleep in despair. All is lost.

Until you wake . . .

. . . and it is yesterday.

And then you wake again . . .

. . . and it is the day before yesterday.

Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. With another chance to stop it. Somewhere in the past lies an answer. The trigger for this crime--and you don't have a choice but to find it . . .

Main Genres: Mystery, Thriller, Fiction, Time Travel, Suspense, Crime, Science Fiction, Adult

Karen Mortensen I really enjoyed this book. It had a fascinating premise, which got me thinking about how our perceptions and level of understanding changes as we go through life. The plot kept me hooked. I have recommended it to friends already. Interesting to see everyone's take on the book here!

Amanda McClain | 2 comments I read this book a couple months ago, and it kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. I didn’t see the story turning out the way it did and I loved most of the characters. I’ve recommended it to several people and someone else is reading my copy currently. Definitely a book worth the read.

I liked this better than I'd expected and the premise definitely helped.

Annie | 12 comments Just finished, and it did not disappoint! It kept me interested and surprised all the way to the end. And I love how she ended it. Not giving any spoilers, I love when a story feels complete and I felt this one definitely tied up all ends. I honestly have no complaints about it. I feel like it was a fresh way of story telling that moved well, had good characters that you can easily like and get invested with. Moved quickly enough with plenty of surprises that I wanted to keep reading and I didn't figure it out beforehand. Would definitely recommend !!

I felt the same way! I found myself guessing some of the twists but then being surprised either by others or by how the twist happened.

It's really hard to write about this without spoilers though :D

Thank you for your comment, Mandy. It gave me the push to test an idea. ;) For the August BoTMs we'll go experimenting a bit. :)

I will create 2 threads: 1 spoiler-free and 1 where the readers can discuss the plot to their hearts' content, without having to use spoiler tags.

We'll see, how it will play out. :)
