Cheryl (cherylllr) Our list of "not yet read by the group" (in another thread) is getting very long. A lot of books have come in second in polls, too. It should not be hard to find some nominees, so let's have 'em!

I'll set up the poll as soon as I have 4 or 5 to choose from, or in early July, whichever comes first. We need time to vote, and then to acquire the choice.

Remember, it's very helpful if you can tell us a little bit about your recommendation, and tell us if it's available in multiple formats. And if your nominated rec. wins, you get to lead the discussion! (It's not hard. ;)

Glynn | 342 comments How about The Last Magician. It's 500 pages but by the description sounds like it might be an easy and fun read. Published in 2017 and It's available in hardcover at my library and as a Kindle book on Amazon, etc.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Perfect qualifications! ;)

Cheryl (cherylllr) If I don't get any more nominations, I'll be pulling from old poll runners-up.

I'm only leaving the poll up for two weeks to give us time to acquire the winner!

message 8: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Heads up, I'll be asking for YA and MG fiction for September in honor of back-to-school month. Put on your thinking caps!

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments Such good choices it was hard to choose. I had read the Ben Elton already and really enjoyed it.

message 10: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Only two votes. So I broke the tie. The Last Magician is the one that is available to me, so that's what we'll be reading in August. (It looks popular, you might want to get in queue now.)
