No dorm mate for now.

((Sorry the mods haven’t been making forms or been online, I needed this topic to be made for a rp))

Xiao pulled his keys and his wallet. Inside the wallet had a dorm card, he pressed the card on the scanner and open the door. His dorm was a pale green with plants everywhere. Near the window sat his bed with lots of pillows and a cat. A giant cat like plush sat with a small white cat plush on the edge of the window. Looking out the window, there is a clear view of the beach below. On the shelf were his notes and books. One shelf however was smaller than the others, just above the be within hand reach. A photo sat on top of it, a photo of his family, his brothers face was crossed out with a large red X ❌. The cat stirred and looked up before disappearing after 2 steps.

Xiao walked in and waited till Tsuki was in before closing the door locking it. He moved his books from his desk, toss his pjs in a laundry basket, and got out a bean bag chair (Pale green) from the closet. The closet had a lot of… toys and plushies for some reason. He sat on the edge of the bed and patted the seat besides him. “You can sit in the chair, bed, or the beanbag.”


((Sorry I kinda when out of my mind. His room is a lot like mine. Xiao likes pale colors but mostly green *I have to update his profile*))

Tsuki nodded, sitting down on the chair, and putting her bag on the ground next to the chair. She looked around the room, which was mostly a pale green color with many plants. She noticed the picture of Xiao's family. She stared at the red X on his brother's face, confused, but she didn't ask about it. She smiled. "Your dorm is nice. Should we get started on the song?" she said. She pulled out her notebook and pencil, ready to start writing.

When Tsuki looked at his family photo he hoped she wouldn't bring it up, when she didn't he relaxed. "Thanks. What had your friend suggest on the song?"

Tsuki pulled out her phone, looking through her messages to find the text from her friend. "Here. This is what she wrote" she said, showing the message to Xiao. While her friend wasn't as interested in music like Tsuki was, she certainly seemed better at coming up with lyrics than she was.

He took her phone gently and stared to read what her friend had written. “This is good. I think we could put this part in the middle somewhere after the first chorus,” he stood up and stood next to Tsuki. “How do you plan to end the song?” He pointed a few thoughts out. “Like copying the beginning or a whole new way?”

Tsuki paused for a moment. "Maybe end it the same way as the beginning?" she said. She looked at lyrics her friend sent again, writing down the lyrics Xiao suggested using after the first, dividing her paper into sections so it was organized better. I wish I was as good at writing lyrics she thought to herself.

"Do you..." He stopped and shook his head. Xiao whats wrong with you? He looked up and on her paper. "it's neat."

((I wanna make Xiao say he likes her and ask her out ^//.//^ But boy is too shy))

"Thanks" Tsuki said. Hearing he was about to say something else, she looked at Xiao, tilting her head. "Do I what?" What was he going to ask?

“Umm…” Think, Xiao Think! He hesitated, Xiao couldn’t lie, the thing was his mom wasn’t always been a element dragon. She was a truth dragon who told the truth and only the truth. They could tell if someone was telling false information or not. Xiao was half half which made it kind of impossible but a bit possible for him to lie.

Xiao decided not to lie, what’s the hard to ask a girl if they are taken? He might as well accept the fact. “Boyfriend… do you have one?”

Tsuki was surprised by Xiao's question. She gave a small smile. "No, not at the moment. Is this your way of asking me out on a date?" she asked. She was sure of it. Why else would he ask that? She could tell he was nervous, and she hoped her answer would make him be less nervous.

“Erm… no. It’s not a date. It’s something else.” He paused “maybe it is. Will you go on the date if I asked?” Xiao stood behind her this time looking at one of the plants on his shelf

Tsuki gave another smile. "Of course" she said. She grabbed a loose piece of paper, writing her phone number down. "Here's my phone number. Text me the details later when you can."

“Why not now? I mean later.” He smiled and took the paper. Xiao leaned down and kissed behind her ear. “Where would you like to go on the date?”

Tsuki was surprised by the kiss. Her smile widened. "Hmm... I'm not sure. Do you have any ideas?" she asked.

“Your call. We could start out simple.” He sat besides her on the beanbag. Xiao smiled at himself hand that he had asked her out in a date, technically she had assumed he was going to ask her.

"Simple sounds good. What about the woods? We could have a picnic there. Or would you rather go to the lake?" Tsuki asked. She didn't expect this to happen. She had never been on a date before, so it made her nervous.

“The woods sounds calm.” He agreed, “what time are you free?”

((Sorry for the short answers I just wanna get the rps going and answer all the messages working full time is harder then part time lol))

"How does seven sound?' Tsuki said. She put the day of the date on her phone so she wouldn't forget. She smiled to herself, putting her phone back in her bag.

“PM or AM? I prefer PM”

"PM. I prefer the evening anyways" Tsuki said. "What day should it be on? The weekend? Although that would be best since we have school on the weekdays."

“How about.” He stood up walking over to the calendar on the wall “Saturday?”

"Sounds good" Tsuki said with a smile. "She wrote it down on her phone. "Should text you that day before the date?"

“Sure I am forgetful.” He stood up again “we can work on the song again or your dying ti leave my dorm?”

Tsuki nodded. "Sounds like a plan!" she said. Shelaughed. "No, we can work on the song." What are some good lyrics? she thought, trying to think of what else she should write.

“How long do you want it to be? 1 min?”

"I'm not sure. Maybe two minutes? Maybe a little less than that?" Tsuki said. How could I forget the length of the song? she thought to herself, annoyed that she didn't think about it.

“Two sounds fine enough”

Tsuki nodded. "Sounds good" she said. She sang the song to herself in her head, keeping track of how long the song was. Aftee feeling like it wasn't long enough, she wrote down more lyrics, looking over the song to make sure she liked how it turned out.

“That looks good to me. Would you like instruments in your music? I can play a few but name one that I can’t”

"I think a guitar would sound nice with the music. What do you think?" Tsuki asked. "I started learning the guitar, but I'm still pretty new to it."

“Tell me about it” he mumbles “I can’t either. My figures just don’t like the guitar”

Tsuki gave a chuckle. "Don't worry about. I'm sure you'll get used to it the more you practice" she said. "So, a different instrument then? Or are you okay with the guitar?"

((It's alright!))

“I’m fine. But a song isn’t a song without more than 2 instruments. ‘You can’t bake a cake with only flour’ “ Xiao smiled. “How about something you can play? Piano? Drums? Xylophone? The triangle?”

Tsuki nodded, giving a small smile. "Good point. I can play the drums too, so I'll use a piano and drums for the song. And you'll play the guitar, then?" she said.

“Of course. Your song your rules” Xiao bent down under the bed to retrieve a case, covered with dust. Brushing the dust off he opened to revive a guitar that seem to be taken care of neatly and carefully.

"It's a beautiful guitar. How long have you had it for?" Tsuki asked. She examined it. It looked old but also new at same time
She didn't know how to describe it.

“It belonged to my brother but he’s not part of it now.” Xiao looked back at the photo of him and his parents. The person who had a red X on his face was his brother, Da Shawn. “It’s very old, my brother had it for sometime. I’ve always wanted to touch it when I was little but he didn’t let me.”


((I’m so so so so sorry! I have to grade papers for the kids I’m tutoring this summer! So much work!!))

"I see. Would you mind playing a song on it? I want to hear what is sounds like" Tsuki said. She looked back at the photo. The guy with the red X across his face must be his brother she thought, curious but not asking.


(It's alright! I'm sorry, too! I was busy yesterday, and didn't see this until a couple of hours ago and fell asleep!))

“Sure how do you want it to go?” He strummed a few notes. “I’ll play as you want”

Tsuki listened closely, nodding. "That sounds good! Maybe add a few extra notes, just to make the rhythm flow smoothly" she suggested, writing notes to remind herself.

“Understand boss He joked trying it again. “Shall we meet in the music room tomorrow?”

Tsuki gave a small laugh. "Sure. I'll try writing the rest of lyrics before than. I'll see you later" she said.

"Alright then" Xiao walked over and helped Tsuki up from the chair. Opening the door, he walked with Tsuki.

Tsuki smiled. "Thanks" she said, walking to the door with Xiao. "Today was fun. And thank you for helping me with my song. I appreciate it. I feel like I made a lot of progress with it."

"It's all good! If you ever need help you know you can find me anywhere anyhow"

Tsuki nodded. "Thanks. I should be getting back to my dorm. See you later, Xiao" she said. She gave a small wave, walking down the hallway towards the direction of her dorm.
