A comment made by Noah saying “Dead people have a better social life” drives Jordan to do something spontaneous to prove him wrong. As a result, she ends up alone in small town Serenity, Texas in a boatload of trouble. Was Jordan too impulsive and/or foolish for taking off alone with so little information about her destination? In your opinion, is Jordan trying to prove something to Noah or herself? Your thoughts?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I didn't think Jordan was impulsive. She was at a point where she could be spontaneous. Who would have thought that the crazy Professor would pull her into trouble. I expected them to work together and find a treasure.

Jordan was trying to prove something to herself and Noah.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I think I'm the party pooper here: I thought Jordan was a bit reckless more than impulsive.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I agree with Sharon, Jordan was trying to prove something to both herself and Noah. And, I agree with Charlene, Jordan was a tad reckless. She should have headed back to the city when the car started to have problems for one thing.

I wondered about that motel MacKenna sent her to. Did the professor think that it was what a Buchanan deserved? I was forced to stay in a place like that once, it was horrid.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think Jordan was proving to herself that she could be spontaneous and get the historical information for Isabel.

I didn't think she was impulsive or foolish. There was no way she could have foreseen what was going to happen. She wasn't traveling to a dangerous area. She saw the motel that the professor picked for her and was smart enough to find her own place to stay.

Jessica | 156 comments I have traveled across the country by myself on more than one occasion so I can't say that Jordan was foolish for traveling without calling myself foolish! But was it a bit impulsive? Yea probably. But I think that's fine too. She wasn't dropping any responsibilities to do it so I was perfectly fine with it.
